Welcome!

Welcome!
The Concrete Garden is a community space for growing fruit and vegetables in Possilpark, North Glasgow. The garden is located on land reclaimed from industrial use and is designed in a modular system of grow boxes and bags made from recycled materials.

It is the first demonstration site for SAGE (Sow and Grow Everywhere) a visionary initiative led by NVA and ERZ landscape architects, to expand community food growing across Glasgow.

We provide growing space and learning opportunities for local individuals, families and organisations. We're also host to local events such at the Winter COAT festival and used by local community groups for arts activities and therapeutic projects.

If you'd like to join in, you have the opportunity to become involved in many ways:

-You could have your own plot for you and your family.

-Come along to tend a shared plot with your local community group,

-Become a valued volunteer and drop-in to help us maintain the garden.

-Perhaps you are looking for a local venue to hold an event to promote healthy living or run an environmental art or gardening workshop?

Our gardener Paula is here every Friday morning from 10am, to offer green-fingered advice and help you plan what to grow when.

If you'd like more information or would like to pop along to visit the garden please contact:
